Chuck is the Co-Founder of Organic Communication (http://www.organiccomm.com), a consulting firm that provides coaching and training in persuasive communication, leadership and conflict management. He is also an Executive Coach for the Executive MBA Program of Loyola Marymount University. For ten years, Chuck has coached and trained leaders in sectors ranging from non-profit to aerospace, medicine, technology and the federal government. Prior to his coaching career Chuck worked in such diverse fields as information technology, public relations, public health, technical writing, journalism, event planning and child development.
Gail Barrie, CPCC, PCC
Celebrator extraordinaire of the fullness and diversity of life, Gail founded BOLD MOVES, a dynamic international portfolio company through which she offers customized coaching, consulting, training and creative services for individuals and relationship systems. Gail’s devotion to expanding the range of human potential has served people in private and corporate sectors, from prison inmates to CEOs, from her own backyard to Siberia. An avid spiritualist and metaphysician, Gail enlivens and calls forth ‘practical magic’. Specializing in relationship, sexuality and creative expression, Gail champions people toward crafting sustainable experiences filled with the pleasure and splendor of being truly alive. Tony Barton, CPCC, PCC
Tony is Mr Red Kite – or at least that’s how many people know him through his coaching business ‘Red Kite World‘. After a successful 20 year career in marketing, Tony left his ‘velvet rut’ and discovered some really interesting products to market through coaching – like aliveness, joy and courage. He is an authorized Team Diagnostic Facilitator and an MBTI assessor. Tony brings many ‘red kite’ qualities to his work as a coach and front of room leader and is known for his great sense of play, fun and groundedness. In addition to his work with CTI he also runs his own ‘Simply Inspiring’ workshops and adventure holidays. Married with 3 grown children, Tony lives in the UK.
Ann Betz, CPCC
Ann has both a passion and a gift for making teachings and theory real, understandable, and powerfully applicable in day-to-day life. Ann is the co-founder of BEabove Leadership, which focuses on helping individuals, non-profits and businesses remember their innate capacity to lead, work and live “above the line,” thus increasing their effectiveness and engagement. Ann has deep experience in both corporate America and the non-profit sector, ranging from work as a contract trainer in a large corporate leadership program to co-founding a non-profit organization to provide coaching and leadership training to national service programs. Ann has also worked internationally with women’s groups in both Costa Rica and Nepal.
Marco Buschman, CPCC, ACC
Marco is a results driven person with a broad experience and strong feeling and attention for ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ sides of organizational and personal development. He is an international certified coach and a proud leader for Coaches Training Institute. Besides his training at the Royal Military Academy, Master of Business Administration at Nijmegen University and many coach related trainings, he worked for over 13 years as a manager within (non-)profit organizations. In addition he worked as (international) trainer and coach. First being employed by a large Dutch Training Institute, and from 2007 on within his own company.
Susan Carlisle, MA, CPCC, PCC
Twelve years ago Susan discovered CTI, and out of that experience she created a successful coaching career. The foundation of her work is supporting people to have the courage and conviction to live a soulful and spirited live, to live a life of freedom and liberation. She has worked with corporate executive, small business owners, coaches…people who what to live a life of meaning that honors what matters most to them. In July of 2010 Susan became a Staff Leader for CTI, which allows her the opportunity to work with CTI on many more levels of development and leadership. Susan feels like she is a walking billboard for the joy of following your heart, doing what you love and living a fulfilling life.
Craig Carr, CPCC, PCC
A client recently told Craig she wanted to hire him because, “you have done so many things!” With a post-graduate degree in counseling psychology and certificates in hand, Craig set out on his first careers in psychotherapy and, later, 15 years as a Chinese Medicine physician. He has steeped his work with a keen interest and awareness for metaphysics, quantum physics and money-physics. This probably explains why he enjoys working with investors, entrepreneurs and Dreamers. Craig is the co-creator (with Jil Windsor) of Danger, Sex and Magic: Coaching Beyond the Forbidden and Taboo, a multi-formatted coaching and coach training program.
Pat Carrington-House, CPCC, PCC
Pat’s passion and dream is to sail around the world with his family. This is one way he inspires others that cross his path to make choices in their lives that will allow them to truly follow their hearts. Pat is a co-founder of Dolphin Leadership Inc., a company dedicated to uncovering the passion that lives uniquely in every human being. Since 1998 he has coached and delivered programs inside companies using his insight, energy, and humor to empower individuals and organizations to take actions that are in line with the legacy they want to leave. Pat and his family departed on his dream sailing trip in the fall of 2008. He will be flying to the Co-Active Leadership Program from wherever he is on his circumnavigation, bringing with him the inspiration and courage of his personal ‘Hero’s Journey.’
Dori Ben-Chanoch, PCC, CPCC
Dori specializes in Executive Coaching, working closely in one-on-one settings with executives in order to hone their skills. Dori is a certified behavioral coach, who has worked in training and development for the last 15 years. He specializes in executive presence, interpersonal communication skills, and emotional intelligence using a model of open and honest communication. In the past, Dori served as a president of a successful financial services company, and has extensive experience as a top sales producer and sales manager.
Eileen Blumenthal, JD, MA, CPCC, PCC

Eileen founded Rocket Science Coaching & Consulting in 1995 and works at the intersection of humor, insight and ease. She comes to coaching after careers in non-profit management, employment law, and higher education administration, always favoring work with individuals finding their way. In addition to serving on CTI’s faculty as an examiner and supervisor, Eileen provides coaching and consulting internationally, most recently with PEPFAR-funded agencies in Mozambique combating HIV/AIDS. She is the co-designer of, and lead trainer for, the Great Plains Public Health Leadership Institute peer coaching program for emerging public health leaders. Eileen is a Bikram yoga enthusiast, and she and her partner are the humble guardians of a very smart cattle dog, Gracie.
Sandra Cain, CPCC, PCC
Sandra coaches individuals, pairs and teams. Her background includes 15 years experience in large organizations with a variety of leadership and personal development roles. Her stand for this work is that while we are here, we might as well be conscious and intentional about who we are, what we do and how we live. Sandra also has a strong belief that life is meant to be a fun adventure and that just about everything is funny, given enough time. When not coaching or training, she loves rollerblading, hot yoga and cruising in a vintage speedboat with her husband and their beagles.
Ariane Cherbuliez, MBA, MEd, PCC, CPCC
Ariane takes a firm stance that compassion and a wacky sense of humor can go a long way toward unlocking blocks and creating momentum. Clients compare working with her to swinging from the monkey bars: just the right degree of challenge, continually new ways of looking at your situation, and a rubber mat of compassion creating safety beneath. Her clients credit her with helping them get unstuck, become more deeply connected to themselves, and find a flow of action to achieve both their personal goals and those of the organizations they work within. Ariane gets great joy from gardening, singing in a chorus, and taking part in adventures with her daughter and husband. She lives and grows in a cohousing community in Cambridge, MA.
Leslie Clark, CPCC, PCC
Although known for her calm and steady presence, Leslie may surprise you with her lust for an extraordinary life and bold choices. In 2000 she abandoned a successful 15 year career in the hospitality industry for exotic simplicity and tranquility in the Mayan Riviera town of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Over the span of 8 1/2 years Leslie learned Spanish, built a home with 3 apartments, acquired two dogs, made lifetime friends, and weathered 3 hurricanes. In late 2008 a new dream called her back to the US where Leslie now continues her tropical lifestyle in Florida near family. Shifting from a “play not to lose” to a “play to win” mindset, is a theme in her private coaching practice. Leslie has built her leadership development platform using coactive coaching, structural consulting, 7th generation thinking, and the principles of permaculture. She customizes rigorous individual and small group corporate leadership programs primarily for social entrepreneurs, green technologies, and green revolutionaries.
Veronica (Ronnie) Clifford, CPCC, PCC
Ronnie spent 20 years working in sales, marketing and commercial roles and 10 years working as a software engineer. She coaches corporate executives and coaches in training and a variety of people in between. Ronnie delivers leadership training and personal development coaching for IBM UK, working at all levels within the organization to maximize the human potential that is available. Ronnie splits her time in the UK between London and Devon. She is a keen traveler and loves to work with people. Ronnie is never happier than when she is with her close friends & family or singing in the Choir!

Judith is the developer of The Opportunity Game, a coaching method that fosters resilience, compassion and personal and group transformation. She was hired as the first CTI Certification Examiner in 1996 and is still passionately committed to training coaches to be masterful while having fun in the process of learning. Judith is the head coach for the Effective Influence Conference of Cross Cultural Communications, Inc. as well a a T-Group facilitator at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the University of San Francisco Law School. After living in the Bay Area for 35 years, Judith has recently decided to become bi-coastal and to live in NYC for several months a year.

Nancy is a spirited blend of fierceness and fun. She has run her own coaching practice since 1998, inspiring people to cultivate and express creativity in business and personal arenas. Nancy does plenty of creative stretching herself as author, playwright, musician and budding visual artist. Before coaching Nancy spent a decade in financial services management and Human Resources, and now enjoys bringing coaching skills into organizations to help them become more productive and alive.

Marlena deCarion, CPCC, PCC
Marlena is committed to unleashing the human potential in all of us, what she calls “radical transformation.” She is a full time coach and trainer for the CTI, working with clients around personal and professional vision and action. She fell in love with the co-active coaching model after life as an Outward Bound instructor and manager. She masterfully challenges our stuck ways of thinking and connects people to the truth of who they are. She brings years of mindfulness practice to her coaching as well as training in somatic therapies and deep inquiry. She is currently being trained as a meditation teacher and has been called a pragmatic mystic, integrating spiritual principles in practical, everyday life.

As Co-CEO and partner at CTI-Israel, Yossi leverages his background in economics, business administration, and international marketing and brings more than 30 years of experience in business and management, in the multidisciplinary corporate world and in various cultures and organizations. Johann (Hannes) Entz-von Zerssen, CPCC, PCC, ORSCC
Hannes passionately creates higher levels of trust within individuals and organizations in order for them to operate more smoothly and efficiently. More trust, more ease, more joy. He works as a coach and process consultant with individuals and teams with 5C! Concept GmbH mostly in Europe and North America. Hannes co-founded CTI Germany and partnered with CTI to bring the Co-Active Model into the German language. He worked for 15 years as a Manager and Executive in the transportation and logistics industry in various European countries and Canada and brings a wealth of intercultural experience to clients. Hannes loves to be out and about on the water, paddling, rowing or sailing—even in bad weather.
Steven Filante, CPCC, PCC
Steven Filante works with clients to uncover their truest expression and bring their unique vision into reality. He coaches small business owners and executives who need a coaching ally to translate their vision of change into the world. In addition to experience in men’s work and Earth-based initiation, Steven developed Awakening the Soul-Body Connection work which helps people experience and use the many energetic strengths available in their body. He brings passion, intelligence and play to training and coaching. When not working, Steven loves bicycling, skiing, backpacking, kayaking and snorkeling. Clark Friedrichs, CPCC
Clark is an adventurer. From an early age, Clark explored the world with curiosity and fascination and eventually studied Geography at the University of Colorado. After receiving his degree, he began to work for National Geographic magazine as a researcher. Continuing his exploration of humanity, Clark worked as a massage therapist before discovering coaching and brings his adventuring spirit to coaching. He has worked with thousands of people all over the world and has trained thousands more. Currently Clark lives in Barcelona, Spain, and works with people ranging from executives to coaches-in-training. Ken works with senior executives of Korean and multinational corporations, top government officials, and business leaders.

As President of CTI Korea, Susan is one of the pioneers who introduced the coaching profession to Korea. Her background includes over 30 years of teaching at the college level, training coaches, and serving as an elder of a Presbyterian church. She leads the CTI courses and works with Asian, Korean, and expat executives, and women leaders. Susan has trained many Co-active coaches in Korea and translated the Co-Active Coaching book into the Korean language.

Caroline MacNeill Hall, MA, CPCC, PCC
Caroline is an executive coach and author who works with individuals and organizations to build leadership grounded in respect and fascination, authenticity and authority. A sunny soul who believes that laughter lubricates leading, Caroline is as elegant and fierce as she is funny and friendly. Her great joy is to move, inspire and connect human beings as they embrace and develop their authentic selves and their creative power to lead change in the world. Before becoming a coach, she was a journalist and ghost author of 13 books, mostly for psychologists. Along with CTI co-founder Laura Whitworth and colleague Rick Tamlyn, Caroline is co-author of the book The Bigger Game: Why Playing a Bigger Game Designs Who You Want to Become. Her words are arrows and bubbles; when she speaks, people are inspired to move toward their higher selves.
Akasha Halsey, CPCC, PCC

Since he was an 11-year old captain of Campus School crossing guards, Sam has actively engaged in guiding people across the street and beyond for many years. As founder of Soulutions Leadership and Coaching, Sam provides customized, experiential-based leadership development programs and coaching to executives, managers, teams and individuals around the world. Sam has trained people in coaching skills on three continents, from such diverse settings as corporate boardrooms to federal prisons and everything in between. Formerly a psychotherapist and social worker, Sam has extensive experience in in-patient psychiatric settings, day treatment programs, counseling centers, and his own long-standing private practice, where he specialized in family and couples therapy. When not engrossed in his work, Sam can be found enjoying his family, messing around in boats, biking the back roads or playing his guitar.
Jeff Jacobson, CPCC, PCC
Jeff coaches and plays with people who yearn for bold, Technicolor lives. He has been involved in coaching and human growth work since 1994. Prior to coming to the world of coaching and leading for the Co-Active Leadership Program, Jeff worked in the field of language teaching and Chinese/English interpreting. His experience living in East and Southeast Asia for three years ripped apart his world view and taught him to love things like seaweed, good directions and fine, fine storytelling. In addition to his own coaching practice, Jeff travels internationally for CTI leading coaching workshops.
Leni Christine Jebsen, PCC, CPCC, ORSC
Leni comes from a background of law and graphic design prior to choosing a new career as business developer and coach. In 2003 she founded C-MOMENTUM AS, a Norwegian based business and leadership coaching company that is successfully helping organizations and individuals navigate change and embrace dynamic improvement. Leni’s particular skill is empowering people to make powerful, value based choices. With her direct and straightforward manner of engagement Leni works with clients from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. She is a leadership and team coach, trainer and facilitator dedicated to inspire people to have healthy relationships in work and life. As a mother of four she spends her time with her family and friends, and is passionate about dancing Argentine Tango.

Ji-Yun comes from a science and research background. Living in a medical community, she works with physicians and their families on issues of work-life balance and coping with stress. She is a facilitator for a non-profit organization, Rochester Diversity Council and works with clients from many different nations and cultural backgrounds. With her gentle yet powerful spirit, Ji-Yun guides her clients into claiming their magnificence. She is passionate about diversity issues in the workplace and the community. Ji-Yun is currently living in Minnesota with her husband and two children, her greatest source of joy and gratitude.

Athena is passionate about people living lives they love and doing work that is deeply fulfilling. As a co-founder of IdeaTribe she works with individuals, teams, and organizations. Athena is a partner who listens, challenges, encourages, and guides her clients to reach beyond what they thought was possible to what they truly want. Athena has extensive experience in the corporate arena as a marketing strategist and in the non-profit world as a board member and team coach. She is a committed advocate for peace and as a member of the Business Council for Peace, Athena co-develops and delivers training and mentoring programs for businesswomen in post-conflict countries, including Afghanistan and Rwanda. She regularly leads workshops at Esalen Institute, which she considers her spiritual home.

Janet is an executive coach working with leaders and teams in public benefit organizations. In her work she focuses on increasing personal and organizational sustainability, creating visions with traction, and cultivating enjoyment. Currently, Janet is Executive Director of The Change Initiative USA, promoting Communities That Can!, a comprehensive capacity-building approach for change-makers in the health promotion and community development sectors. She has taught coaching, communication and leadership skills for the S.F. Small Business Administration and the University of California, Berkeley Extension. Janet lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and is the proud mom of an 11-year-old daughter.

Virginia Kellogg, CPCC, MCC
Virginia is a founding partner of Leadership that Works Inc. where she designs coaching and leadership training programs that help leaders become more authentic, productive, and responsive to the needs of the world. Virginia holds a big vision for the coaching field, helping coaches to find ways to make coaching skills and orientation become a “positive virus” in the world. Through her work, she holds the vision of coaching skills being integrated into the work of activists, educators and nonprofit professionals. She is passionate about creating a new face on the coaching field, one that includes all humans and one that provides services for all humans. With Hide Enomoto and Sam House, she has co-designed The World is my Client, a program that creates a deeply personal intersection between coaching and the world. She works with nonprofit leaders, community organizers and other leaders to create soul-connected and powerful change with ease.

Trained as an engineer, Abi has 27 years of experience in high tech. Since 1996 Lori has been passionate about the holistic nature of the Co-active coaching model and the possibilities for human development that it holds. She has been leading CTI courses since 1998, has held most training positions at CTI, assisted with the creation of a leader development process in 2001 and trained a number of course leaders and certification pod leaders over a period of several years. Lori was instrumental in international expansion of CTI and held the position of International Director in 2006-7. She lives in France and intends to move to London in 2011. To bring balance to her life, Andrea has twice stored all her belongings to go on the road—once for four months and once for nine months.
